Services for Elsie Mae Dalton McDavid, of Brookhaven, are 11:30a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Holly Springs Baptist Church in LincolnCounty with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Homeis in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is today from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home, andon Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of theservice.
Mrs. McDavid, 65, died Nov. 18, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn on Dec. 8, 1940, to Brother Dalton and Marie HillhouseDalton.
She was a homemaker and was retired from Keystone Seneca after23 years of service. She was a member of Holly Springs BaptistChurch.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Enois L.McDavid Sr.; her granddaughter, Katrina Autrey; hergreat-granddaughter, Arianna Hollingsworth; her brothers, GeorgeRichard and Billy Dalton; her sisters, Lyble Walls and IveyClemons.
Survivors are her sons, Enois McDavid Jr., of Brookhaven, andBrian McDavid and wife Stacey, of Ruth; her daughters, TeresaAutrey and husband Owen, Vickie Case and husband Steven, and TinaRoberts and husband David, all of Brookhaven; her brothers, JamesDalton and wife Helen, of Michigan, Kenneth Dalton, of Southaven,Tommy Dalton and wife Cherly, of Crenshaw, and Robert Dalton andwife Rachel, of Odessa, Texas; her sisters, Rose Clemons andhusband Shed, of Crenshaw, Jean Cooper and husband Pete, of LittleRock, Ark., and Linda Clemons and husband Lee, of Horn Lake; herspecial brother-in-law, Phillip McDavid; her 13 grandchildren andsix great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews andfriends.
