WESSON — Eight teams will meet in the Wesson InvitationalBasketball Tournament on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 22-23. JoiningWesson are boys and girls teams from Loyd Star, Enterprise, NorthPike, Dexter, Natchez Cathedral, Vicksburg St. Aloysius andRaleigh.

The eight teams will be split into two groups, playing in Pool Aand Pool B. Friday’s winners meet in the Saturday’s late gameswhile the losers begin play that morning at 10 a.m.

Hosting the tournament are Wesson boys coach Ron Kessler andWesson girls coach Hugh Webb.

In Pool A Friday, North Pike meets Raleigh at 10 a.m. and 11:30and Loyd Star tangles with St. Al at 4 p.m. and 5:30. Pool Bfeatures Enterprise against Cathedral at 1 p.m. and 2:30 and Wessonfaces Dexter in the two late games, beginning at 7 with the girlsfollowed by the boys at 8:30
