James ‘Jamie’ Aurice Bardwell

A memorial service for James “Jamie” Aurice Bardwell, of BogueChitto, was Tuesday, Dec. 19, at Community Funeral ServicesChapel.

Mr. Bardwell, 39, died Dec. 15, 2006, at his residence. He wasborn on Oct. 18, 1967.

He was a self-employed carpenter. Jamie loved to fish, hunt,sketch and draw. His favorite pastime was reading. He loved hisfamily and his son was first in his life. His nieces and nephewswere precious to him. He adored his grandmother and called her”Mama.” His best friend was the baby, Stephaine Johnson, his auntby birth, but sister by choice.

Preceding him in death were his fiancee, Angela Driggers; andhis grandparents, Henry A. and Fannie Adams Bardwell, and WalterRay Miller, of Florence.

Survivors are his mother, Marsha Miller Bardwell, of BogueChitto; his father, Aurice Bardwell, of Bogue Chitto; his daddy,Floyd Bardwell, of Bogue Chitto; his stepfather, Virgil McGee, ofBogue Chitto; his son, Quintin Bardwell, of Bogue Chitto; hisgrandmother, Prudia Miller, of Florence; his brothers, Ray Bardwelland wife Rotonya, of Gautier, and Henry Bardwell, of Bogue Chitto;his sisters, Ruby Wallace and husband Kurt, of Bogue Chitto,Jennifer Moak, of Wesson, Leslie Bardwell, of Florence, JessicaBardwell, of Wesson, Stacey Bardwell, of Brookhaven, and StaceyRhines, of Soshomo, Wash.
