Services for Laverne Cothren Stroud, of Meadville, were 2 p.m.Sunday, Jan. 21, at Siloam Baptist Church in Franklin County withburial in the church cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.

Mrs. Stroud, 74, died Jan. 19, 2007, at Meadville ConvalescentHome. She was born in Franklin County on March 17, 1932, to LonCothren and Elma Murray Cothren.

She was a drug store clerk. She was a member of Siloam BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, JamesV. Stroud.

Survivors are her brother-in-law, Lester Stroud, of Meadville;and her sisters-in-law, Billie Rose Stroud and Alice Stroud Nixon,both of Meadville.
