Services for Lonnie Mae Johnson, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Saturday, Feb. 10, at Della Green M.B. Church in Brookhaven withburial in Friendship M.B. Church Cemetery in Brookhaven. R. E.Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 7 p.m. at the funeral home,with family present from 6 until 7 p.m.

Mrs. Johnson, 79, died Feb. 4, 2007, at her residence. She wasborn on March 15, 1927, to Jim Maxie and Prescilla Maxie.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Della Green M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, EddieJohnson Sr.; her son, Eddie Roy Johnson Sr.; her sisters, GertrudeMaxie, Georgia Maxie and Annie Mae Hinton.

Survivors are her son, Quinn C. Johnson, of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Lorraine Johnson, of Brookhaven, and Cathryn Davis andBeverly Johnson, both of Memphis, Tenn.; her brother, James Magee,of Hattiesburg; her sisters, Edna Ruth Lindsey, of Hattiesburg, andMary Hattie Loften, of Pascagoula; her nine grandchildren and 11great-grandchildren.
