Services for Julius C. “Bud” Richardson, of Brookhaven, are 2p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drivewith burial in Turner/Richardson Cemetery on Richardson Road in theJohnson Grove community.

Mr. Richardson, 79, died Feb. 18, 2007, after a lengthy illness,at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident ofLincoln County. He was born on Aug. 5, 1927, to Jack (John)Richardson and Alice Branch Richardson.

He was a retired oil field worker. He was a member of SouthwayBaptist Church and a member of Masonic Lodge 241.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, Johnny,Hillary and Shirley Richardson; and his sisters, Frances, Janie,Emma, Lula, Annie Mae, Catherine, Bertha and Geneva.

Survivors are his devoted wife of 56 years, Ellen Richardson, ofBrookhaven; his sons, Julius Wayne Richardson and wife Elane, ofJohnson Grove community, Jackie Richardson and wife Peggy, ofBrookhaven, and Johnny Richardson and wife Julia, of Johnson Grove;his daughter, Debra Keeton and husband John, of Pearland, Texas;his sister, Ida Davis, of Lucedale; and his 13 grandchildren and 18great-grandchildren.
