Moses Dyer Jr.

Services for Moses Dyer Jr., of Atlanta, Ga., formerly ofNatchez, are 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Zion Mount Baptist Churchwith burial in the church cemetery. Marshall Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of theservice at the church.

Mr. Dyer, 37, died Feb. 16, 2007, in Atlanta. He was born inNatchez on Oct. 27, 1969, to Moses Dyer Sr. and Arula G. Dyer.

Preceding him in death were his grandmother, Mary Green; and hisuncles, Samie Green Jr. and James Edward Green Sr.

Survivors are his parents, Moses Sr. and Arula Dyer, of Natchez;his daughter, Lakenya Franklin, of Natchez; his sisters, AngelaDyer, of Natchez, Deronda Washington, of Ridgeland; his brother,James Green, of Natchez; his grandfather, Sammie Green, of Natchez;other relatives and special friends.

Michael Dan Hoyt

Graveside services for Michael Dan Hoyt, of Montgomery, Texas,are 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at Montgomery Baptist ChurchCemetery in Bogue Chitto. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Hoyt, 60, died Feb. 14, 2007, in Houston, Texas. He was bornon Sept. 1, 1946, to Marion Hale Hoyt and Helen Rosalee ReedHoyt.

He was an HVAC salesman. He was a veteran of the U.S. AirForce.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife of 25 years, Frances Moak Hoyt, ofMontgomery; his sons, Fred Hoyt and wife Angela, and Jon Edwards;his daughters, Karen Annette Bonds and husband Roy, Cathee Konarikand husband Donnie, and Pam Edwards; his sisters, Beverly Whithrowand husband Dewey, and Marian Baird and husband Jerry; hisgrandchildren, Denise Bonds, Willie Bonds, Colton Konarik, AshleyFahay Hoyt, Tyler Konarik and Tanner Konarik, and numerous otherloving relatives and many friends.

Stephen ‘Mark’ Netherland

Graveside services for Stephen “Mark” Netherland, of Meadville,are 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at Midway Cemetery. Marshall FuneralHome is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Netherland, 52, died Feb. 16, 2007, at his residence. He wasborn in New Orleans, La., on June 27, 1954, to Leo Netherland andBetty Gartman.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, MichaelNetherland.

Survivors are his loving wife, Wendy Nicole Netherland, ofMeadville; his daughter, Patricia Netherland, of Meadville; hissons, Lonny Netherland and Paul Netherland, both of Florida; hissister, Guynell Vernon, of Franklin County; his granddaughter; hisgreat-aunt; his niece and nephew; and a host of other relatives andfriends.
