Thelma Lily Buckley

Visitation for Thelma Lily Buckley, of Ballwin, Mo., will beheld at Schrader Funeral Home at 14960 Manchester Road in Ballwinon Tuesday, March 20, from 2 until 7 p.m. The eulogy ceremony is at4 p.m. Mass services will be at St. Clare of Assisi on 15642Clayton Road in Ellisville, Mo., on Wednesday at 10 a.m., withburial at Jefferson Barracks.

Mrs. Buckley, 83, died March 17, 2007, at her home. She was bornin Oneida, Wis., to Christjohn Antone and Lily Poole.

She was a graduate of Oklahoma State College in Edmond, Okla.She earned her Master of Music degree from the University ofOklahoma, and later attended Louisiana State University for herdoctoral program in music. She was involved in music throughout herlife. While living in Venezuela, she performed in concerts, anddirected several choirs. She was a member of the St. Louis SymphonyChoir and directed the Junior League’s Nightingales. She was amember of the American Association of University Women.

While living in Brookhaven, (1962-1972) she was very involved inthe community through her music. She was a great supporter of theCub Scouts, and an active member of the Baptist church.

She was proud of her Native American heritage and was a memberof the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin Tribe. After tracing hergenealogy back to her ancestor who was Chief of the Oneida Nationduring the Revolutionary War, she was inducted into the Daughtersof the American Revolution. She was a member of St. Clare of AssisiParish.

Survivors are her husband, James L. Buckley Jr., of Ballwin; herchildren, James L. Buckley III, of Ft. Worth, Texas, Joanie L.Buckley, of St. Louis, Mo., Anthony W. Buckley, of Minneapolis,Minn., and Patrick C. Buckley, of Houston, Texas; her brother JohnAntone, of Glencoe, Mo., and her five grandchildren.

James Lee Jordan

Services for James Lee Jordan, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Tuesday, March 20, at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel in McComb withburial in Hollywood Cemetery. The Rev. Billy Moak willofficiate.

Visitation is Monday from 2 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home,and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Mr. Jordan, 86, died March 17, 2007, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in the Auburn community in Lincoln County onApril 17, 1920, to Hugh B. Jordan and Winnie Davis McMorrisJordan.

He was a retired accountant with Miller Transport Co. He was aveteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy as acorpsman. He was a member of Central Church of Christ inBrookhaven.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, EthelinderMatthews Jordan; and his brother, Edward Jordan.

Survivors are his son, Byron “Buddy” Jordan and wife Roxanne, ofCrescent City, Ill.; his daughters, Juletta J. Warrick and husbandWayne, of Bogue Chitto, and Jameline J. Moak and husband Billy, ofBrandon; and his granddaughter, Wyndi Moak, of Brandon.

Pallbearers are Lindeal Greer, Michael Posey, Byron Jordan, WadeHinshaw, Wayne Warrick and Richard Jordan.

Marguerite Lois LeBlanc

A burial Mass for Marguerite Lois LeBlanc will be held at 1 p.m.at St. Rosalie Catholic Church, with interment at WestlawnCemetery. Mothe Funeral Home in Harvey, La., is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. LeBlanc, 71, died March 15, 2007. She was a lifelongresident of Marrero, La.

She was the beloved wife of the late Aubrey J. “Peanut” LeBlancSr.; the mother of Kathleen Bailey, Cynthia Galey, Aubrey J.LeBlanc Jr., Nancy Roberts, Gail Boudreaux and Robert LeBlanc. Shewas mother-in-law to Ronald Bailey, Clifford Galey Sr., Pat RobertsJr., Daniel Boudreaux Sr. and Maggie LeBlanc. She was the daughterof the late Victor Falcon and Rose Eskine Falcon. She was sister ofGertrude Boudreaux, Emma Guillot, Henry Falcon, Patsy Emerson andthe late John Southerland, and sister-in-law to Lloyd Guillot,Patricia Falcon, Ken Emerson, Doris Southerland and the late ClaudeBoudreaux. She was the grandmother of Jeffrey Perque, Cliff GaleyJr., Michael Galey, Heather LeBlanc, Dana Crews, Brittany Sanchez,Pat Roberts III, Karen Simmons, Daniel Boudreaux Jr. and LaurenLeBlanc. She was the great-grandmother of Paul Creasy, BrandonCreasy, Lindsey Creasy, Samantha White, Jessica White, Megan Galey,Harley Roberts IV, Cody Roberts, Haley Crews, Hannah Crews, DylanSanchez, Daniel Boudreaux III, Ian Ray, Chad Simmons and ColeHernandez.
