Columbia come back to nip BA

Columbia Academy scored the game-winning run in the top of theseventh inning Tuesday night to pull out a 7-6 win over hostBrookhaven Academy in a battle of the District 4-AA Cougar baseballteams.
Hunter Farrar was the winning pitcher, fanning 14 batters andwalking 9. Zach Watson took the loss, striking out 5 and walking1.
Brookhaven led Columbia 4-2 after 2 innings. The visitors cutthe deficit to 4-3 in the top of the third as the hosts added 2more runs in the fourth to push their lead to 6-3. Columbia went onto score 4 more runs for the comeback win.
Brookhaven got a home run and a single from Corey Dickerson.Keith Franklin doubled and singled. Singling twice was T-Boy Lynch.Zach Watson doubled.
Farrar ripped a home run, a double and a single for Columbia.Ryan Havard also homered and added a pair of singles. Drew Holmesdoubled and singled. Singling twice was Ben Selman.
