Services for William Carrol Jackson, of Hazlehurst, are 11 a.m.Tuesday, April 3, at Springhill United Pentecostal Church in Wessonwith burial in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Services isin charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 4 until 9 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Jackson, 73, died March 31, 2007, at Hardy Wilson MemorialHospital in Hazlehurst. He was born on Jan. 25, 1934, to TommyJackson and Julie Jackson.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his son, Mike Jackson, of Brookhaven; hisdaughters, Zelle Sanders, of Hazlehurst, Ann Gill, of Brookhaven,Sherry Potter, of Nebraska, Darlene Alexander, of Texas, and JoannDelaughter, of Wesson; his brothers, Johnny Ray Jackson, of Wesson,Ernest “Buck” Jackson, of Strong Hope, and Robert Jackson, ofOklahoma; his sisters, Joyce Ratcliff, of Strong Hope, and LoyceHall, of Wesson; and his 17 grandchildren and 28great-grandchildren.

Willard E. Nevels

Services for Willard E. Nevels, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Tuesday, April 3, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Rosehill Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Nevels, 85, died April 1, 2007, at his residence. He wasborn on June 2, 1921, to Elmer S. Nevels and Anna Smith Nevels.

He was retired from the salvage business. He was a United StatesAir Force veteran of World War II. He was a Mason and a Shriner. Hewas a member of Pearlhaven Baptist Church in Brookhaven.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, JamesNevels, Paul Nevels, Donald Nevels, Robert Nevels, Ivan Nevels andJerry Nevels; and his sisters, Mildred N. Stewart and Irene N.Price.

Survivors are his wife, Audrey Keyes Nevels, of Brookhaven; hisdaughters, Sylvia Nevels Campbell and husband David C. Campbell, ofBrookhaven, and Joyce Nevels Bullard and husband Michael A.Bullard, of Clinton; his brothers, Memphis Howard Nevels and RalphNevels, both of Brookhaven; his sister, Doris N. Brown, ofBrookhaven; his grandchildren, Chris Campbell, Dan Campbell, MarkBullard and John Bullard; and his great-grandchildren, KirstieCampbell, Alyssa Campbell and Mason Bullard.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Jerry Lee Sauls Jr.

Services for Jerry Lee Sauls Jr., of Jayess, were 10 a.m.Monday, April 2, at Magee’s Creek Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. The Rev. Dale Sauls and Jimmy Jones officiated.Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in Tylertown were in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Sauls, 40, died March 29, 2007, in Elsberry, Mo. He was bornin McComb on June 9, 1966, to Jerry Lee Sauls and Theola DunawaySauls.

He was a machinist.

Survivors are his parents, Jerry Lee Sauls and Theola DunawaySauls, of Jayess; his son, Dakota Jerry Sauls; his sisters, LanellKing and husband Eugene, of Brookhaven, Melissa Williams andhusband Harold, of Summit, Melinda Gautreaux and husband Durwin, ofGreensburg, La., and LaShawn Falks and husband Junior, of Jayess;and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Johnathon Vaughan, Ronald Morgan Jr., JeremyReid, Brandon Falks, Michael Morgan and Bruce Sauls.
