And while we’re on the subject of talented individuals,Southwest Mississippi can boast of being home to a wonderful groupof musicians who make up the Ole Brook Wind Symphony.

Members include current and former band directors, high schoolmusicians and a few others who have long since left the halls ofacademia. All, though, are volunteers who come together to enjoyeach other’s camaraderie and to entertain audiences during theirfall and spring concerts.

Symphony members’ talents were on display Tuesday during aconcert at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. The concert won ravereviews from those in attendance.

The symphony is a high note in the tune that is Brookhaven. Welook forward to continued symphony success.
