Services for Deloris “Dee” Taylor, of New Orleans, La., are 2p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Lillie Mae B.C. Church in Georgetownwith burial in New Hope Church Cemetery in Georgetown. WilliamsMortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Taylor died April 16, 2007, in New Orleans.

She was retired.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Vanilla Bush Whalen andEthel Owens; her husband, Marion Jesse “Shug” Taylor; and herbrothers, Sammie Brady, Leroy Brady, Charles Brady, Charles Owens,Manson Owens and L.D. Stewart.

Survivors are her son, Al Jesse Taylor; her daughters,Jacqueline Taylor, Delores Taylor and Irene Taylor; her brother,the Rev. Jesse Taylor; her sister, Elnora Brady Lewis; her 11grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and many otherrelatives.
