Services for Glendora Faye Smith, of Brookhaven, were 10 a.m.Saturday, April 21, at Wellman Chapel with burial in WellmanCemetery. Community Funeral Services was in charge ofarrangements.

Ms. Smith, 77, died April 18, 2007, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born on Sept. 4, 1929, to Abney Mathes Carney andJerusha Townsend.

She was disabled.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her sons, Mike andRicky Nordan.

Survivors are her daughter, Margie Williams, of Bogue Chitto;her brothers, Kenneth Carney, of Memphis, Tenn., and Luther Carney,of Madison; her grandchildren, Angie and Charla Williams; hergreat-grandchildren, Kristian Burton, Kourtney Jones, and Tiara andMonique Williams.
