Services for Mickie Sue Allred Beard, of Smithdale, are 11 a.m.Saturday, April 28, at Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb withburial in Concord Cemetery. The Rev. Mike Alexander willofficiate.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home,and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Beard, 57, died April 24, 2007, in Ozark, Ala. She was born Nov.2, 1949, in Pike County to Casey Allred and Billie FreemanAllred.

She was a retired beauty operator and was a member of Oak GroveBaptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her faithful lifetime companion, GeorgeCrofoot, of Smithdale; her son and daughter-in-law, Brad and DonnaPrice, of Pleasanton, Calif.; her stepson and his wife, GeorgeCrofoot IV and Roberta, of Smithdale; her brothers, David Allred,of Smithdale, and Stan Allred, of Bogue Chitto; her sisters, JudyTouchstone, of McComb, and Cindy Hughes, of Naples, Fla.; hergrandchildren, Samantha, Casey and Stephen Price, all ofPleasanton; her stepgrandchildren, Renee, Kathy, Robert and GeorgeCrofoot V, all of Smithdale; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Kevin Touchstone, Kyle Touchstone, JeromyHughes, Brian Palen, Josh Allred, Shane Hughes, Kirk Touchstone andCole Hodges.
