Services for Mary Louise Norman Branum, of Brookhaven, are 2p.m. Thursday, May 3, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Wesson City Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Branum, 83, died April 29, 2007, at Martha Coker NursingHome in Yazoo City. She was born on May 21, 1923, to Leland Normanand Alma Lucille Brown Norman.

She was a retired science teacher with the Lincoln County Schoolsystem at Bogue Chitto. She was a member of Jackson Street UnitedMethodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, JamesGlenn Branum; her son, William Wayne Branum; her brothers, WallaceNorman Sr. and Leland Brown Norman; and her sister, JaneZachary.

Survivors are her sons, Charles Norman Branum, of Wesson, LelandH. “Lee” Branum, of Yazoo City, and William Wayne Branum, of Texas;her daughters Nancy B. Allen, of Virginia, and Charlene B.Pelletier, of Paris, France; her nine grandchildren, 10great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
