Services for Hilda W. Stovall, of McComb, are 11 a.m. Saturday,May 26, at New Heights Baptist Church with burial in HollywoodCemetery. Jones Family Funeral Services is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Jones FamilyFuneral Services and continues Saturday at New Heights BaptistChurch from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. The Rev. Rick Kennedyand Dr. David Millican will be officiating.

Mrs. Stovall, 96, died May 22, 2007, at her home surrounded byfamily and friends. She was born in Nov. 26, 1910, in McComb, toJames Monroe and Fannie Reedy Williams.

She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Shealso worked many years for McComb Manufacturing Company having alsobeen co-owner with her husband of Stovall Mattress Company. She wasa lifelong and oldest member of New Heights Baptist Church, theformer East McComb Baptist Church where she was active in WMU,taught Sunday school, and sang in the choir.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Oscar A.Stovall, whom she was married to for 51 years before his death; twobrothers, Ray Williams and Howard Williams; and a granddaughter,Rhonda Kay Scott.

Survivors are her two daughters and one son-in-law, JanetteScott, and Betty and the Rev. Howard Brister, all of McComb; threegranddaughters, Cindy Bracey and husband, Larry, of Hattiesburg,Robin Herrington and husband, Mike, of Vicksburg, and RebeccaChase, of Hattiesburg; two grandsons and their wives, Robby andElizabeth Scott, of McComb, and Dr. Glenn and Janeth Brister, ofTennessee; her great-grandchildren, Melissa Rouse and husband,Gene, of Vicksburg, Melanie Herrington, Rachel Chase and MeganChase, all of Hattiesburg, Laura Brooks and husband, Kevin, ofMcComb, Kristin Bracey, of Birmingham, Josh and Jacob Bracey, ofHattiesburg, Dusty and Cody Scott, of McComb, and Jonathan Brister,of Tennessee; great-great-grandchildren, Trevor, Peyton and MorganRouse, of Vicksburg, and Destiny and Abigail Brooks, of Tennessee;numerous nieces and nephews; a very good friend, Anna Nimon, ofMcComb; and the loving and caring staff of Community Hospices ofAmerica.

Pallbears will be Mike Herrington, Robby Scott, Gene Rouse,Kenin Brooks, Larry Bracey, Dr. Glenn Brister, Josh Bracey andJacob Bracey.
