Sarah Anna-Louise Case

Graveside services for Sarah Anna-Louise Case, of Brookhaven,are 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at Highway 84 Church of Christ.Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Infant Case died May 24, 2007, at Southwest Regional MedicalCenter in McComb. She was born on the same day to Kelby Case andTara Douglas Case, of Brookhaven.

Byrd Storey

Graveside services for Byrd Storey, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Tuesday, May 29, at New Sight Baptist Church Cemetery inBrookhaven. Community Funeral Services is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Storey, 77, died May 27, 2007, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. She was born on Oct. 23, 1934, to Fred M.Baird and Mary Burton Baird.

She was retired from the Mississippi Department of HumanServices. She was a member of New Sight Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, JimStorey and John William Brennan; and her brother.

Survivors are her daughter, Mary Ann Brennan, of Vicksburg; andher sisters, Mary Ann Baird, of Brookhaven, and Katherine Turnboughand Ethel Martin, both of California.

Memorials may be made to Southern Care in Brookhaven or theBrookhaven Public Library.

Sidney Thompson

Services for Sidney Thompson, of Hazlehurst, are 2 p.m., Monday,May 28, at Antioch Baptist Church in Copiah County with burial inthe church cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Thompson, 85, died May 25, 2007, at Meadville NursingHome.

He was a native of Copiah County, where he served as justicecourt judge in District 3 for 16 years and as supervisor inDistrict 3 for 10 years. He was a member and served as a deacon atAntioch Baptist Church. He was a member of the 82nd AirborneDivision in World War II. He served his country in France, Germany,and at the Battle of the Bulge.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Helen DouglasThompson; his granddaughter, Kristie Lea; and hisgreat-granddaughter, Callie Lea.

Survivors are his son, Sidney “Booky” Thompson and wife Kim, ofHazlehurst, and Kevin Thompson and wife Christy, of Hazlehurst; hisdaughters, Karen Reynolds and husband Ray, of Meadville, SusieJackson and husband Billy, of Bassfield, and Judy Lea and husbandRonnie, of Sontag; his brother, Pat Thompson; and 10 grandchildrenand 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Antioch Memorial Cemetery Fund orto the Baptist Children’s Village.
