Marcus Joel Dean, age 50, resident of Wilmer, Ala., returned tohis Lord on Friday, May 18, 2007, a true Christian man, alwayswilling to help, no matter the hour or the task.

He was a faithful member of Westwood Baptist Church. He wasemployed by Prism Systems of Mobile, Alabama.

Marcus will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege ofknowing him. He is survived by his wife, Ellen; his daughters,Meghan, Rebecca, and Kimberly; his son, Nathaniel; his parents,Jesse E. and Lorene Dean, of Wesson; his sister, Debbie White, ofTexarkana, Texas; his brother, Stephen Dean, of Wesson; his nephew,Jeffrey White, of Baton Rogue, La.; and his niece, Emily White, ofTexarkana.

Services were held May 22, 2007, at Valhalla Memorial FuneralHome with interment in Valhalla Memorial Gardens, Semmes,Alabama.
