Graveside services for Isabell Lester, of Roxie, were 11 a.m.Monday, June 25, at Zion Cemetery in Roxie. Marshall Funeral Homein Bude is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lester, 85, died June 14, 2007, at Heritage Manor Healthand Rehabilitation Center in Ferriday, La. She was born in Enid,Okla., on Sept. 2, 1921, to Leroy Hosely and Beatrice Clay.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HenryLester; and her daughter, Vergie Dawson.

Survivors are her daughters, Audrey Cook and Viola Hunt; hernine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 11great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives andfriends.
