Services for Theola Robinson, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Saturday, June 30, at Alexander Junior High School in Brookhavenwith burial in Ebenezer Cemetery in Brookhaven. R.E. Tyler FuneralHome is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from noon until 4:30 p.m. at the funeralhome, with family hour from 6 until 7 p.m. at Ebenezer A.M.E.Church in Brookhaven.
Mrs. Robinson, 77, died June 25, 2007, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. She was born on March 5, 1930, to N.Z.Bryant Sr. and Allie Mae Short Bryant.
She was a graduate of Alexander High School in Brookhaven and ofJackson State University and the University of Wisconsin. She was aretired educator for the Brookhaven Public School System, andtaught in Tunica, as well. She was a member of Ebenezer A.M.E.Church, where she served as financial secretary, trustee, stewardand Sunday school teacher. She was a member of Zeta Phi BetaSorority Inc.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her sisters,Henrietta (Dolly) Brown and Beatrice (Monk) Gills.
Survivors are her husband, Sheridell Robinson, of Brookhaven;her daughter, Robin Silas, of Jackson; her brother, N.Z. BryantJr., of Jackson; her sisters, Christine Crossley, of San Francisco,Calif., Earline Corey, of Pittsburgh, Penn., and Learline Bryant,of Brookhaven; and one grandchild.
