D-2 hopefuls discuss econic development

Incumbent District Two Supervisor Bobby J. Watts andcandidate Ellis Dave Chatmon responded to the newspaper’s surveywhile candidate Jerry Nix did not participate.

1. The county, city and chamber are working together todevelop a new business park for the community. What can you do assupervisor to fill this new park with quality jobs for LincolnCounty citizens?

Work along with other supervisors in bringing new businesses andindustry to the community.

Bobby Watts:

Major trends in the Linbrook Business Park is absolutelynecessary when responding to opportunities for the support anddevelopment in the workforce. Development will impact developersfor the jobs of the future. What we are doing to prepare for theLinbrook Business Park is an important role that I will followunder the direction of our Board Attorney, Board of Supervisors,and the Chamber of Commerce.
