Services for Clara “Polly” Fox Hales, of Wesson, are 1 p.m.Saturday, July 7, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Avenue withburial in Beauregard Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Hales, 80, died July 5, 2007, at Silver Cross Nursing Home.She was born on Sept. 17, 1926, to Thomas Earl Fox and Ora CobbFox.

She was a nurse at King’s Daughters Hospital for 42 years andworked at the Wesson Public Library. She was a member of BeauregardMethodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, J.W.Hales; and a son-in-law, Larry Joe Lewis.

Survivors are her daughter, Carolyn Roberts and her husband,Norris, of Wesson; her grandsons, Mike Lewis and his wife, Darlene,of Brandon, and Joe Lewis, of Wesson; her great-grandson, DrewLewis; her great-granddaughter, Anna Michael Lewis; her brotherEarl Cobb and his wife, Joe, of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; her nephew,Bob Fox and his wife Leslie, of Pigeon Forge; her great-nieceReilly Fox, of Pigeon Forge; and lifelong friends, Margie Smith andJacqueline Thurman, both of Wesson.
