Services for Annie Pearl Little Barnes, of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. Saturday, July 21, at Mt. Wade Missionary Baptist Church inBrookhaven with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brookhaven.Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home,and on Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of theservice.

Mrs. Barnes, 72, died July 15, 2007, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Dec. 16, 1934, to BenLittle and Mattie “Martha” Howard.

She was a 1952 graduate of Alexander High School and a 1959graduate of Alcorn State University. She was a retired schoolteacher. She was a member of Mt. Wade M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, EloitBarnes Jr.

Survivors are her daughter, Elissa Barnes, of Brookhaven; andher brother, James Howard and his wife Barbara, of Brookhaven.
