Charles Jordan Nunnery

Charles Jordan Nunnery, 21, died Aug. 5, 2007, at UniversityMedical Center in Jackson from injuries sustained in an automobileaccident in Copiah County. Visitation was Monday at First BaptistChurch in Hazlehurst. Services were 11 a.m. on Tuesday at FirstBaptist Church in Hazlehurst with burial in the HazlehurstCemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst was in chargeof arrangements.
Charlie was an active member of First Baptist Church ofHazlehurst. He was a senior at Mississippi State University, wherehe was majoring in Construction Management. He was an active memberof Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. Charlie was a generous, lovingyoung man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Hewill be missed dearly.
Survivors include his parents, Mike and Lucretia Nunnery; hisbrother, Michael; his grandparents, Charles and Faye Jordan, all ofHazlehurst; his grandmother, Judy Nunnery, of Ridgely, Tenn.; hisdear friend, Anna Coleman; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins andmany loving friends.
Memorials may be made to the Copiah Academy Athletic Departmentin honor of Charlie.
