MAGNOLIA – Summer Rials ripped 3 singles to lead the Wesson LadyCobras to a 12-3 win over the South Pike Lady Eagles in girlsvarsity slowpitch softball play Thursday night.

Wesson improved to 3-1 with the win.

Nikki McCardle to the win with 3 strikeouts and 1 walk.

The Lady Cobras outhit the Lady Eagles 17-5 at the plate.

Contributing to the Wesson win with 2 hits apiece were ChristinaFink, Ann Shelby Davis, Jessica Haines and Lanie McQuade.

In the junior varsity game, Wesson came away with a 7-4 win.

Wesson hosts Franklin County Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. withthe JV girls and noon with the varsity teams.
