Colonels axe Oak Forest

GALLMAN — With Copiah Academy’s offense and defense clicking onall cylinders, the Oak Forest (La.) Yellow Jackets were no matchfor the Colonels who posted a 25-18 District 4-AA win Fridaynight.
Copiah improved to 3-1 and Oak Forest fell to 3-1 on theseason.
Copiah quarterback Daniel Sims and linebacker Alex Guess werepleased with their team’s performance.
“We keyed up on Oak Forest,” said Sims after the win. “We foundsome good open spots for Hunter Greer.”
Guess said persistence was a key ingredient.
