Co-Lin visits Hinds Eagles for South Division test

WESSON — Still winless in the South Division, the once-powerfulHinds Community College Eagles aim for their first South winThursday night when they host the Co-Lin Wolves. Kickoff is 7 p.m.in Renfro Stadium on the Raymond campus.Co-Lin (1-4, 1-2) absorbeda 37-3 thumping in Stone Stadium last week. Hinds (3-2, 0-2) lost a56-41 decision to Jones County Junior College.
Hinds has used a trio of quarterbacks this season. Co-Lin headcoach Glenn Davis said he expects his team will see a lot ofTerrance Barnes (6-1, 172, soph.), a Jackson Callaway product.,
“Offensively, they have played musical chairs at quarterback,”said Davis. “They’ve used three different guys.”
Bryan Mann (6-2, 210, fr.) from South Bay, Fla., and JarrodFleming, (6-0, 185, fr.) from Orlando, Fla., also see action atquarterback. In 4 games, Barnes has completed 30 of 56 passes for539 yards and 7 touchdowns.
Davis praised the skills of Hinds running back Anton Taylor(5-10, 205, fr.) of Jackson Provine. “He is exceptional at runningback.”
