Services for Barbara Ann Pennington Farmer, of Natchez, will beheld at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25, at First Baptist Church inNatchez with the Rev. Bill Hurt officiating. Burial will follow atGreenlawn Cemetery. Laird Funeral Home in Natchez is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of the serviceat the church.

Mrs. Farmer, 66, died Oct. 23, 2007, at her residence. She wasborn in Monticello on April 2, 1941, to Farrell and EdnaPennington.

She was educated in the Adams County Public Schools. She was alifelong member of First Baptist Church in Natchez. She was adevoted wife, mother and “Maw Maw” to her family.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, RobbiePennington Arnold; and her niece, Diane Arnold Priest.

Survivors are her husband, Henry K. Farmer Sr.; her sons, HenryK. Farmer Jr. and wife Marla, of Natchez, and Gary Farmer and wifeLiz, of Natchez; her grandchildren, Jordan B. Farmer, Madison A.Farmer, Trevor W. Farmer and Brock D. Farmer; her Uncle EarlLambert and wife Zelma, of Natchez; and her Aunt Helen Ballard, ofMonticello; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, brothers-in-lawand sisters-in-law, and many lifelong friends.

Pallbearers are Tommy Davis, William Davis, Billy Ray Farmer,Roy Farmer Jr., Jonathon Foster, Ken Price and David White.
