Guard Jeremy Foster pumped in 18 points Monday night and theEnterprise Yellow Jackets romped to a 60-31 victory over thevisiting Mize Bulldogs in the basketball season opener for bothteams. In the varsity girls game, junior forward Tara Paden’s 14points paced the Lady Jackets to a 46-27 win over Mize. Lacey Orrchipped in 12 points.

The Enterprise girls resume play next Tuesday at West Lincoln.The boys won’t play West Lincoln until Saturday, Nov. 10, due tothe football season.

Enterprise 60, Mize 31

The Jackets, coached by Josh Bass, took a 40-16 halftime leadover Mize. Jamie Smith added 8 points to the victory.

Jonathan McNair’s 10 points paced Mize.

Enterprise 46, Mize 27

On the backboards, Amanda Burke pulled down 9 rebounds and had 3steals for Enterprise which is coached by Jill Nations. ErikaRutland had 5 steals as the Jackets took a 24-13 halftimelead..

A 15-point effort by Josie Owens led Mize and all scorers.
