Services for Derwin “Mr. Peanut” McDaniels, of Slidell, La., are2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Siloam M.B. Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 7 p.m. with family presentfrom 6 until 7 p.m. at R.E. Tyler Funeral Home.

Mr. McDaniels, 17, died Nov. 12, 2007, at Mandeville State Hospitalin Mandeville, La. He was born on Sept. 19, 1990, to JosephRobinson Jr. and Eunice McDaniels, both of Slidell, La.

He attended St. Tammany Parish Schools.

Survivors are his parents; his brother, Courtney McDaniels, ofDetroit, Mich., and his stepbrothers, Brandon and Joseph Robinson,both of Slidell; his stepsisters, LaTasha, Sandra and JessicaRobinson, both of Slidell.
