Maurice Case Franklin
Services for Maurice Case Franklin, of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m.Saturday, Dec. 1, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive withburial in Mt. Zion Church of Christ Cemetery. Bro. Wendell Davisand Bro. Jerry King will officiate services.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. and again Saturday from8 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Franklin, 81, died Nov. 28, 2007, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on July 23, 1926, to Dewey Case and RubyPhillips Case.
She was a homemaker, loving mother, aunt, cousin and friend tomany. She loved traveling, meeting people and living life to thefullest. She was a very caring and spiritual individual who broughta smile to all that she met. She was a member Brookway Church ofChrist in Brookhaven.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Norman”Chick” Franklin; a brother, Gerald; and a sister, Nell.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-laws, David andCindy Franklin, of Nashville, Tenn., and Kyle and Debby Franklin,of Denham Springs, La.; her brother and sister-in-law, Sherrill andSue Case, of Brookhaven; her sisters and brother-in-law, Jean andBennie Frank Wilson, of Brookhaven, and Rose Case Wallace, ofNatchez; her five grandchildren, Spencer, Alexis, Lainey Alise,Kylynn Laura, and Cole Clifton Franklin.
