Services for Lucy Mae “Lulu” Parker, of Crosby, will be held at1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Mercy Seat Ministry Baptist Church inPort Gibson with burial in the church cemetery. Marshall FuneralHome is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home inBude, and on Saturday at the church from noon until the time of theservice.
Parker, 62, died Nov. 30, 2007, at her residence. She was bornin Port Gibson on Oct. 21, 1945, to Matt and Mary Parker.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her grandmother,Florence Champ.
Survivors are her daughter, Jonesia M. Parker, of Crosby; hersons, Curtis Parker and Wendell Parker, both of Dallas, Texas; hersisters, Elaine Joseph, Bettye Jean Parker, Linda Jackson, AnitaParker, all of Dallas, and Marie Herrington, of Port Gibson; herbrothers, Alfred Parker, of Jackson, Douglas Parker, of Dallas,Larry Ray Parker, of Port Gibson, Junior Herrington and JohnnyHerrington, both of Fayette; her seven grandchildren; and a host ofnieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
