Inez Magee
Services for Inez Magee, of Brookhaven, will be held at 11 a.m.on Monday, Dec. 31, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church inMonticello with burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary isin charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Sunday from 2 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mrs. Magee, 79, died Dec. 25, 2007, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on March 12, 1928, toBenjamin Woods and Fannie Woods.
She was retired. She was a member of Friendship M.B. Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, M.L.Magee; her brothers, Frank Woods, Charles Woods, Albert Woods,Willie Woods and Huston Woods; her sisters, Beulah Mae Montgomery,Carrie Woods, Juanita Brown and Rosie Lee Woods.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Dianne Miller
Memorial services for Dianne Miller, of Wesson, are 11 a.m.Monday, Dec. 31, at Sylvarena Baptist Church. Stringer FamilyFuneral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Miller died Dec. 28, 2007, at Hardy Wilson MemorialHospital in Hazlehurst.
She was a native of Hinds County but had lived most of her lifein Copiah County. She was a licensed practical nurse at HazlehurstClinic for 23 years and a member of Sylvarena Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Richard Miller; her children,Christopher Edward Brister, Patrick Lynn Brister and Lisa ElaineBurns, all of Wesson; her stepchildren, Tommy Joe Miller, ofBrookhaven, and Gina Pettis, of Vicksburg; her parents, Calvin andDorothy Britt, of Wesson; her brother, Clifford Britt, of Wesson;11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Norris Clyde Norton
Services for Norris Clyde Norton, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Monday, Dec. 31, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services Chapel withburial in Riverwood Memorial Park.
Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Norton, 77, died Dec. 26, 2007, at his residence. He wasborn on July 13, 1930, to Willie Clyde Norton and Sybil MaeLewis.
He was a retired house painter. He was a member of CentralBaptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Lula Mae Dupree Norton; her daughters,Deborah Callender and husband Larry, of Brookhaven, Janice Davisand husband Charles, of Bogue Chitto, and Jo Beth Thompson andhusband Allen, of Brookhaven; her sister, Doris Marie Elkins andhusband Tommy, of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, Wade Callender andwife Mary, of Orlando, Fla., Shanna Gage and husband Eric, ofMadison, DeAnna Stockton and husband Jeremy, of Bogue Chitto, KellyCalcote and husband Clark, of Brookhaven, Jamie Smith and husbandHeath, of Vicksburg, and Chase Davis and wife Amy, and Jodie Davis,all of Bogue Chitto; her cousin, Vida Elizabeth Wells; her nephew,Willie Elkins; and her niece, Mona Bland.

Services for A. S. “Buddy” Rials Jr., of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Sunday, Dec. 30, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services Chapel withburial in Riverwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Rials, 83, died Dec. 27, 2007, at St. Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital. He was born on Jan. 10, 1924, to Albert S. RialsSr. and Katie Lee Turner Rials.
He was retired from Exxon Pipeline. He was a member of EasthavenBaptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and his sister, BobbieMason.
Survivors are his wife, Dolores Scotty Rials, of Brookhaven; hisson, Albert S. “Bubba” Rials III and wife Carmen, of Brookhaven;his daughter, Vicki Stewart and husband Virgil, of Brookhaven; hissister, Sissie Rials McNemar, of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren;17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
