Services for Eva Nell Keene Lambright, 77, of Brookhaven, willbe held on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, at 2 p.m. at New Prospect BaptistChurch in Lincoln County, with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs.Lambright died Jan. 10, 2008, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Centerin Jackson.

Visitation is from 5 until 9 p.m. on Saturday at BrookhavenFuneral Home on Natchez Drive, and on Sunday from 9 a.m. until 1:30p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lambright was born on July 12, 1930, in Pike County toEstus and Minnie Keene. She was a graduate of Johnston Station HighSchool. Retired from the Brookhaven Public School System, Mrs.Lambright continued to give back to the community by being afaithful volunteer at King’s Daughters Medical Center. A dedicatedmember of New Prospect Baptist Church, she was a Sunday schoolteacher for 38 years and a member of the church choir, and wasoften asked to sing special music during the worship services. Shealso enjoyed painting and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, George M.Lambright; her parents; one son, David S. Lambright; and onesister, Maxine Torrix.

She is survived by one son, George E. Lambright, of Brookhaven;one daughter and her husband, Lucy and Matt Shell, of Brookhaven;three grandchildren, George M. Lambright, Scott Lambright andKatherine Shell, all of Brookhaven; four great-grandchildren; onebrother and sister-in-law, Nelson and Charlsie Keene, of McComb;and one sister and brother-in-law, Delilah and G.R. Travis, ofRaymond.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in hermemory to the American Cancer Society.
