Services for Kenneth Bernard Allred, of Bogue Chitto, are 11a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapelwith burial in Adams United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Allred, 60, died Jan. 20, 2008, at his residence. He wasborn on Nov. 9, 1947, to Kenneth E. Allred and Abigail CaseAllred.

He was employed by AT&T and was a member of Adams UnitedMethodist Church. He also served in the United States Army. Heserved as members of the Masonic Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star,Shriners and Telephone Pioneers of America.

Preceding him in death was his stepdaughter, Candy Parnell.

Survivors include his parents; his daughter, Jenny “Becky”Buffington and husband Joe; his sisters, Dianne Boyd, Nelda Hodgesand Janice Davis; his grandsons, Austin Buffington, Shawn MichaelBuffington and Tristan Buffington; his stepgrandchildren, Cody Dyeand Christy Dye; a step-great-grandchild, Cannon Dye; and a specialfriend, Mary Lou Dyess.
