Services for Bettie Jean London, of Atlanta, Ga., will be heldat 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in BogueChitto with burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Ms. London, 66, died Jan. 28, 2008, at Kindred Hospital inAtlanta, Ga. She was born on July 18, 1941, to Cade London and IdaMae London.

She was a 1960 graduate of Alexander High School, where she wasan outstanding member of the Alexander 1960 State ChampionshipBasketball Team. She was a retired medical unit supervisor.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother, EarlLondon.

Survivors are her son, Michael Milsap, of Atlanta; her daughter,Christie London, of New Orleans; her sisters, Shirley Bloodworthand Jere Daiz, both of Atlanta, and Ella Mae Gilbert, of LosAngeles; her brothers, Cade London II, of Los Angeles, JamesLondon, of Ashville, N.C., and Jerry London and Jeffery London,both of New Orleans; her stepmother, Audrey McGee, of Atlanta; andher four grandchildren.
