Aubrey Alexis Fortenberry

Services for Aubrey Alexis Fortenberry, the infant daughter ofBrandon Lee Fortenberry and Amber Woods Fortenberry, of SilverCreek, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at Old SilverCreek Baptist Church in Silver Creek with burial in the churchcemetery. Wilson Funeral Home of Monticello is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Baby Fortenberry, 4 weeks and 6 days old, died Feb. 4, 2008, atthe University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She wasborn in McComb on Jan. 1, 2008.

Survivors are her parents; her sister, Addison EliseFortenberry, of Silver Creek; her grandparents, Sidney and DebbieFortenberry, of Silver Creek, and Danny and Wanda Woods, ofMonticello; her uncles, Mackenzie Woods, Cameron Woods and ErnieFortenberry; and her aunts, Dana Speights, Melane Woods, CaitlynWoods and Lacey Bass.

Louis J. ‘Ned’ Ratcliff

Louis J. “Ned” Ratcliff, 93, died on Tuesday morning, Feb. 5,2008, at Saint Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital, in Jackson.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7,2008, from the High Street Chapel of Wright and Ferguson FuneralHome in Jackson. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. onWednesday, and from 11 a.m. until the time of the service onThursday. Interment will follow the service at 3 p.m. in the AdamsUnited Methodist Church Cemetery in Auburn, (near Summit).

A native of Lincoln County, Mr. Ratcliff had made his home inJackson for many years. He was a member of First Baptist ChurchJackson, where he was a member of the Explorer Sunday School Class.He was employed with Fowler Buick for many years and he retired in1979 as service manager.

Mr. Ratcliff was preceded in death by his parents, James Rankinand Ella Mae Ratcliff; his brother, Lennox Ratcliff; his firstwife, Irene Culpepper Ratcliff (1948); his second wife, Arrie BusbyRatcliff; and a sister, Hattie Parker.

Survivors include his daughter, Reba Ratcliff Bradshaw and herhusband Doyle, of Clinton: his grandson, Tray L. Bradshaw and hiswife Sherri of Gluckstadt; his granddaughter Christy and herhusband Paul Schmidt, of Coppell, Texas; great-granddaughterMackenzi Bradshaw, of Gluckstadt; his sisters, Christine Dobbs andher husband Miller, of Bridge City, Texas, and Minnie Newell ofSeal Beach, Calif.; his brothers, James R. Ratcliff, of Gulfport,and Melvin Ratcliff and his wife Delores, of Summit. There are alsonumerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Hal Parker, Wayne Dobbs, Mark Ratcliff, BrennanDobbs, Ray Goforth and Jeff Tackitt. Honorary pallbearers are JimmyBarr, Buford Berry, Charles Haddad, Robert Hollingsworth and Dr.Clinton Wallace.
