Services for James Jackson, of McComb, are 11 a.m. Saturday,Feb. 16, at New Vision Fellowship Church with burial in St. JohnCemetery in Wesson.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 8 p.m. with family hour from 7until 8 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mr. Jackson, 75, died Feb. 7, 2008, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center. He was born on Dec. 6, 1932 in LincolnCounty. His parents were John Jackson and Bessie Jackson.

He was retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Eula MaeRobinson; and his brothers, Roosevelt Jackson, Robert Lee Jackson,Frank Charles Jackson and John Jackson Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Jackson, of Chicago, Ill.;five sons, James Jackson Jr., Anthony Jackson, David Jackson,Micheal Jackson and Richard Jackson, all of Chicago; his daughters,Victoria Jackson, Romona Jackson, Carolyn Jackson, Valarie Jackson,Resina Jackson, Rochel Jackson and Yvette Jackson, all of Chicago;37 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mattie MaeTurner and husband, Otha Bee, of McComb, and Johnie Mae James andhusband, Robert, of Wesson; her brothers, Walter Smith and wife,Teresa, of Wesson, Sylvester Jackson and wife, Tracey, ofHazlehurst; and a host of stepsisters, stepbrothers, nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends.
