William Roy ‘Ricky’ Johnson

Services for William Roy “Ricky” Johnson, of Gloster, are 1p.m., Thursday, March 20, at Douglas Chapel Baptist Church onDickenson Lane, Coles. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery on Mt.Nebo Road in Gloster. Marshall Funeral Home of Brookhaven is incharge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of serviceat the church.
Mr. Johnson, 46, died March 13, 2008, at Field Memorial Hospitalin Centreville. He was born on Aug. 27, 1961, in Natchez to ErnestJohnson and Ola M. Terrell Johnson.
He was employed by Georgia Pacific in Gloster for 29 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers,Douglas M. Johnson and Alvin A. Johnson.
Survivors include his four sons, Tramondra Johnson, ChristopherJohnson, Terrance Johnson and Cody Johnson; his four sisters,Bonnie Wesco, Carolyn Bonds, Stephanie Smith and Ernestine Griffin,all of Gloster; two brothers, Vernon Johnson, of Baton Rouge, La.,and Amos Ray Johnson, of Mt. Nebo; a fiancee, Maretta Hurst, ofGloster; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, otherrelatives and friends.
