A memorial service for Anne Elizabeth Price Cox, 81, will beTuesday, March 25, at 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel at First BaptistChurch in Starkville.

Mrs. Cox passed away at Cullman Regional Medical CenterThursday, March 20, 2008. She was born Feb. 1, 1927, in Fayette, toJ.H. and Mamie Price. After graduating from Brookhaven High Schoolin Brookhaven, at age 16, she went to Atlanta then Washington D.C.during WWII working for the War Department. After the war sheattended Mississippi State University where she was active in manycampus activities. She married her husband George Earl Cox Jr. andsettled in Starkville. She was the County Office Clerk for the U.S.Department of Agriculture Farmers Home Administration in OktibbehaCounty until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of FirstBaptist Church in Starkville for many years. Above all she was abeloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be deeplymissed.

Survivors include her husband; three sisters, Jane McKinno,n ofWaveland, Evelyn McCready, of Pomona, Calif., and VirginiaCovington, of Hattiesburg; a son, Jim Cox, of Crane Hill; threedaughters, Jane Walker, of Raleigh, N,C,, Laura Cox, of Cullman,and Virginia Claire Cox, of Raleigh, N.C. and Harrison, Idaho; fourgranddaughters; two grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday 1 hour 30 minutes prior to thememorial service.
