Services for Simmie Brown, of Bude, are 2 p.m. Monday, March 31,at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Bude with burial in SwearingtonCemetery in Amite County.

Visitation is Monday from noon until the time of the service atthe funeral home.

Mr. Brown, 78, died March 24, 2008, at Meadville ConvalescentHome. He was born in Franklin County on Oct. 10, 1929, to Jim andNancy Brown.

Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers; andfour sisters.

Survivors are his son, Larry Brown, of Germany; his sister,Lucenda Swearington, of Smithdale; one granddaughter; onegreat-grandson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives andfriends.
