Services for James Earl Hooker, of Natchez, will be held at 10a.m. on Friday, April 18, at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church inNatchez with burial in Natchez National Cemetery. Williams Mortuaryis in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Hooker, 60, died April 14, 2008, at Natchez CommunityHospital. He was born on Dec. 27, 1947, to Houston Hooker and PearlL. Hooker.

He was disabled and a veteran of the United States Army. He wasa member of Mt. Sinai M.B. Church.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his mother, Pearl L. Hooker, of Natchez; his son,Markest Rounds, of Natchez; his daughter, Joycelyn Hooker, ofNatchez; his three grandchildren; his brothers, Donell Hooker andwife Maude, of Jackson, and Ronell Hooker, of Natchez; hisgodsister, Tracey Dodd, of Memphis, Tenn.; his aunts, Pearl Black,Gladys Watson and Fannie Cameron, all of Brookhaven; and his uncle,James Cameron and wife Dora Ann, of Brookhaven.
