Services for Lavell King Marbury, of Brookhaven, will be held at11 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, at Macedonia Baptist Church withburial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on NatchezDrive is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Marbury, 80, died April 15, 2008, at Regency Hospital inJackson. She was born in Lincoln County on Aug. 12, 1927, toWilliam Perry King and Josephine Blackwell King.

She was a homemaker, and was retired, having been a seamstresswith Kellwood for 27 years. She was a member of Macedonia BaptistChurch and was a Sunday school class member.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, CharlesRay Marbury; her son, Donald Marbury; and her grandson, TimRose.

Survivors are her sons, Jimmy Marbury and wife Margaret, andRicky Marbury and wife Colette, all of Brookhaven; her daughters,Linda Dunn and husband Kenneth, and Connie Smith and husband Paul,all of Brookhaven; her sister, Alveta Francis, of Brookhaven; hersix grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
