Services for Dorothy Mae Greer Nettles, of Brookhaven, will beheld at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, at Riverwood Family FuneralService Chapel with burial in Arlington Baptist Church Cemetery inBogue Chitto.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Nettles, 84, died April 29, 2008, at her residence. She wasborn on Jan. 10, 1924, to Willie Ross Greer and Stella Mae SullivanGreer.

She was a homemaker and a member of Arlington Baptist Church.She was a member of the Eastern Star 263 in Bogue Chitto

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, JamesTruett Greer; and her sister, Fannie Lee Baker.

Survivors are her husband of 64 years, Charles Harvey Nettles,of Brookhaven; her son, C. Greg Nettles, of Hazlehurst; herdaughters, Charlotte Ann Nichols and Joyce Elaine Sykes, both ofBogue Chitto; her brothers, Troy Carol Greer, of D’Lo, and Billy R.Greer, of Mendenhall; her sister, Joyce Roberts, of Magee; hergrandchildren, David Nichols, of McComb, Steven Nichols, ofBrandon, Nicole Gatlin, of Bogue Chitto, Tony Davis, of Yazoo City,Timothy Davis, of Brookhaven, Torbin Ordogne, of Bogue Chitto, andGregory Loyd Nettles, of Madison; and her 21 great-greatgrandchildren.
