Megan Erin Bass

A memorial service for Megan Erin Bass, of Sontag, will be heldat 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, at Shiloh Baptist Church inSontag.

Miss Bass, 15, died May 16, 2008, in a car accident on SmithFerry Road in Sontag. She was born in Mississippi on July 12, 1992,to Andrew Preston Bass, of Mississippi, and Michelle Lush Reynolds,of Sontag.

She was a student at Lawrence County High School, where she wasa member of the soccer team. She was a member of Shiloh BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death was her grandmother, Martha Ann OakesBass.

Survivors are her parents; her brother, Andrew Preston Bass II,of Sontag; her sister, Ashley Michelle Bass, of Sontag; hergrandparents, Richard E. Bass and Gordon B. Lush and Nan. R. Lush;and her great-grandmothers, Margaret Farris and Bennie DaughdrillBass.

Judy N. Mounts

Services for Judy N. Mounts, of Summit, will be held at 2 p.m.on Thursday, May 22, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel.

Visitation is Thursday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Mounts, 63, died May 13, 2008, at her residence. She wasborn on March 27, 1945, to Harry Naquin and Bertha FanguyNaquin.

She was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother, and a memberof Christ Life Ministries. She was a member of the Pink Ladies, theGarden Club, the ILR and had served as a missionary in Haiti.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Richard E.Mounts; and her sister, Joyce Chauvin.

Survivors are her sons, David Mounts and Paul Mounts; herdaughters, Lisa Price, Dana Quirk, Terry Mounts and JenniferMounts; her brother, Vincent Naquin; her sister, Diana Small; andher grandchildren, Kristen Mounts, Christopher Mounts, MatthewMounts, Dustin Price, Trevor Price, Dylan Price, Alexander Mounts,Andon Mounts and Dominic Quirk.

Gerald Russell

Services for Gerald Russell, of Brookhaven, will be held at 9a.m. on Thursday, May 22, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Russell, 69, died May 19, 2008, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. He was born on May 29, 1938, to HobsonRussell and Eunice Beeson Russell.

He was a retired from his work with Transworld in the oil field.He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, WayneRussell, Vernon Russell and T.L. Russell; and his sisters, Edna MaeLofton, Eva Nell Knox and Geneva Russell.

Survivors are his son, Gregory Gerald “Smooth” Russell; hisdaughters, Margaret Ann Russell and Vicky Bergman; his brothers,Joe Russell, W.H. Russell and Prentice Russell, and his twinbrother, Jerry Russell; his sisters, Carolyn Justis and ShirleyRodgers; his grandchildren, Sonya Smith, Mallory Moore, Dan RussellVan Norman, Hope Van Norman, Cheyenne Bergman and Gage Bergman; andhis great-grandchildren, Ginger Smith, Seth Prescott, Chloe Smith,Emma Smith, Elaine Fauver, Triston Myers, Paris Shepherd and BeccaAndrews.

The children of Gerald Russell express special thanks to allfamily and friends for the love and support for their dad.
