Services for Marvin Roy Delaney, of Meadville, are 2 p.m.Tuesday, June 24, at Eddiceton Baptist Church in McCall Creek withburial in Midway Cemetery. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from noon until 2 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Delaney, 65, died June 22, 2008, at St. Dominic-JacksonMemorial Hospital in Jackson. He was born in Meadville on Dec. 31,1942, to Julius Delaney and Audrey Emfinger Delaney.

Preceding him in death were his father; a sister, Bonnie Combs,and a brother, John Delaney.

Survivors are his mother; his daughter, Margaret Vanier, ofBrookhaven; his brothers, Ronnie Delaney, of Meadville, and CarltonDelaney, of Baton Rouge, La.; five grandchildren; and host ofnieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
