Services for Willie Lee “Bud” Otis, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Thursday, June 26, at Second Baptist M.B. Church with burial inHillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1 until 7 p.m. at William Mortuarywith family hour from 6 until 7 p.m.

Mr. Otis, 69, died June 22, 2008, at Haven Hall Health CareCenter. He was born in Silver Creek on Aug. 19, 1938, to EdwardOtis and Elizabeth White Otis.

He was disabled.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and a brother, JamesOtis.

Survivors include his son, Jerry McGee, of Hammond, La.; hisbrothers, Ruby D. “Penuchie” Daniels and wife, Susan, ofBrookhaven, and Willie Roy “Pugah” Otis, of Hammond; his sister,Mary Kelly and husband, George, of Brookhaven; a devoted aunt,Earline “Sue” Smith, of Brookhaven; and a host of nieces, nephews,other relatives and friends.
