Services for Herbert Stevenson Woolley, of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. on Tuesday, July 1, at Harrigill Chapel with burial in theWoolley Family Cemetery in Caseyville.

Visitation is Monday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Woolley, 79, died June 28, 2008, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. He was born in Caseyville in 1929, toStonewall Jackson Woolley and Lozier Northern Woolley.

He was a United States Army veteran. He worked as a ProductionField Superintendent for Conoco Oil Company. Mr. Woolley was amember of the Blue Lodge No. 241, and the Shriner Wahabi Temple. In2007 he received his 50-year Masonic ring and lapel pin. He was amember of Damascus Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Frances RayBass; his brothers, Purvis Woolley, Clayton Woolley, PrentissWoolley and Edgar Woolley; and his sisters, Wessie W. Smith, AnnieWoolley and Luna Herring.

Survivors are his sons, Julius Stevenson “Steve” Woolley, ofBrookhaven, and Nolan Herbert Woolley, of Crystal Springs; hisdaughter, Susan Mignon Woolley, of Caseyville; his sister, Eula W.Pierce, of Jackson; his grandchildren, T.J. Dunn, of Brookhaven,Stevenson Mignon Dunn, of Hazlehurst, and Herbert Reason Chandler,of Caseyville; his niece, Jean Woolley Bounds, of Brookhaven; hissister-in-law, Inez Woolley, of Brookhaven; and many dear lifelongfriends.
