Services for Elnora Kelly Ford, of Lucien, are 2 p.m. Sunday,July 6, at Cool Springs M.B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ford, 76, died July 2, 2008, at her residence. She was born inFranklin County on June 22, 1932, to Leroy Kelly and Merever BrownKelly.

She was a homemaker and a well-known gospel vocalist. She was oneof the original members of the Gospel Chimes, a gospel singinggroup that started in 1956. She was a member of Cool Springs M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Robert FordSr.; her son, Robert Ford Jr.; and her brother, Hillary KellySr.

Survivors are her sons, Leroy Kelly and wife, Bettie, and Percy H.Ford, all of Brookhaven; her daughters, Dorothy Lockhart andhusband, Thomas, of Crystal Springs, Shirley Middleton and husband,Kenneth, and Debra Wells and husband, Homer, all of McCall Creek;nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
