Services for Henry V. Blackwell, of Tylertown, are 2 p.m. onSunday, July 20, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on Natchez Drivewith burial in Enon Cemetery in Walthall County.

Visitation is Sunday from 9 a.m. until the time of the serviceat the funeral home.

Mr. Blackwell, 85, died July 18, 2008, at Golden Living Centerin Tylertown. He was born in Ruth on Nov. 6, 1922, to N. C.Blackwell and Tillie Walker Blackwell.

He was a welder. He served in the United States Army in WorldWar II.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Eunice NellBlackwell; and his son, Donnie Delane Blackwell.

Survivors are his daughters, Mary Ella Parker and husband,Woodrow, of Jayess, and Rose Marie Parker and husband, Mac, ofWinnsboro, La.; his grandchildren, Eunice “Pudin” Pippins andhusband, George, and Cecil Parker and Jordan Parker; and hisgreat-grandchildren, Jessie Pippins, Arleigh Pippins and KaleighParker.
